- “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
Being an event photographer, I thrive off the spontaneity associated with capturing particular moments in time. While these floating moments are fleeting, I am consistently ready when they come.
I begin my process with previsualization. Before I bring the camera to my eye I always imagine the final product first. Building the composition, dialing in the lighting, tuning into the correct camera settings all come naturally when I already grasped what I desire for the image. But the process does not end there. In order to complete my vision I must apply the appropriate technical settings in the edit.
My desire to photograph is inspired by a yearning for discovery and exploration. Harnessing these aspirations I bring a sense of wonder and curiosity with me on my assignments.
I would love to talk to you about your particular event via phone, email, or in person
